While smartphones can take decent pictures, professional photographers bring much more to the table—experience, trained eyes, high-end equipment, and editing expertise. We understand lighting, composition, timing, and how to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Most importantly, we know how to capture moments intentionally and deliver high-quality, consistent results. Your memories deserve more than a few blurry or overexposed snapshots—this is about preserving your story beautifully, not just documenting it.

Great question—and it's one we totally understand! The price of photography reflects much more than just the time spent taking photos. You're paying for years of experience, thousands of dollars in professional gear, editing software, backup systems, insurance, planning time, travel, and hours of post-processing to make sure every image looks its best. Plus, you’re investing in someone who knows how to handle all kinds of lighting, weather, and personalities—so you don’t have to stress. You're not just paying for pictures—you're paying for peace of mind and lasting memories, captured beautifully and reliably.

We love being involved and helping guide the photography timeline, but we can’t (and shouldn’t) plan everything on our own. Every couple is different, and your vision matters! We'll absolutely offer suggestions, help with timing, and support you throughout—but we need your input to make sure your photos reflect you. Think of it as a team effort: you bring the vibe, we bring the vision.

We are more than happy to tailor our contracts and pricing based on your needs, so you don’t end up paying for extras you don’t want or need.

We include a certain amount of revisions in each package depending on the size of the package.

We keep trusted affiliates in our back pocket just in case our clients need them. Feel free to ask!

You’ll get a full collection of images from the day, but not every single photo we shoot. We go through everything and organize your gallery into three tiers:

• Tier 1: These are the standout photos that tell the story of your wedding day. They’re fully polished and album-ready—the best of the best.

• Tier 2: These are the rest of the high-quality, edited images that make up your final gallery. We do detailed edits like color grading, skin touch-ups, and object removal. Tier 1 + Tier 2 = the number of images included in your package.

• Tier 3: These are the extra photos from the day that didn’t make it into the final gallery but are still worth keeping. We apply basic edits (like brightness and color correction) and include them as a bonus. There’s no set number—we include what makes sense.

You get everything that matters, fully edited and organized, without the clutter.

We photograph all types of weddings—no matter the size, style, or setting. Whether you're planning a traditional ceremony, a backyard celebration, a cultural event, or something totally unique to you, we're here for it. If it’s meaningful to you, it’s meaningful to us.

We totally get the anticipation—trust us, we’re just as excited to share your photos! But here's the thing: we don’t use AI or batch editing software to speed things up. Every single image is hand-edited by us, one at a time, with love and care (and a little coffee).

We also work on multiple projects throughout the year, so rather than rushing through your gallery, we treat it like what it is—a work of art. We want your photos to feel timeless, not templated. So yes, it takes a bit longer... but the end result is something you’ll treasure forever.

Videography is an area we are looking to expand on, but for now we do not offer this service for weddings.

Before the wedding day, we will have 1-2 consultations where we will go over all the details of your requirements during your special day. Including a list of everyone who will be attending.

We recommend you wear whatever will help you feel most comfortable.

We always keep a plethora of photo-worthy locations in mind. In Calgary and outside of it as well.

Any time of day can be beautiful. But our favorites are the golden hour (the hour before the sun sets).
