HEY, we are khriza and shane
We are Photographers who specialize in Weddings, Event and Maternity Photography. Located in Calgary, Alberta.
What it’s like Working with Us
There’s enough stress in the planning and preparation of a wedding, you don’t want to also have to worry about your Photographers.
Our approach is to get to know you, not just as clients but also as a friends. This is one of the most important days of your life together and you both are entrusting us to document the memories, the moments and the feelings that you and your family will share.
Being in the right place at the right time is a must. We study the schedule and ensure we know where to be, and when. Through careful attention to detail, planning, and communication we create seamless transition from moment to moment, capturing it all.
When you work with us we will ensure you feel absolutely confident and look your best in front of the camera. We can guide you in posing , or we can be flies on the wall and capture candid photos only. It’s your choice, and we’re great at both! Either way, your photoshoot will be an experience you won’t forget, and the photos will show it.

Our Intentions…
We met each other, and started Lightwave Visions Photography, not too long after the COVID-19 Pandemic had eventually fizzled out. Our goal from the very beginning was: how can we bring a metaphorical “light” to the community we exist in - after experiencing and witnessing the pain and damage that the pandemic had caused in friendship circles and society at large, we were determined to try and make a difference (however small) in our local community (Calgary and the surrounding area). There was no question that Photography was going to be the way in which we try to support our community.
The first step was to create a business name that reflected who we are on a deeper and fundamental level. We eventually narrowed it down to the name: Lightwave Visions
Definitions=
Lightwave: A form of electromagnetic energy that travels as a wave, including the visible light spectrum that enables sight.
Visions: The power of sight (the act of seeing), a vivid mental image or idea, especially of the future, an apparition seen in a dream or religious experience, or an extraordinary person or thing of great beauty.
After we had decided on a name, we both laid the foundation for what this business will stand for and what will be the primary principles / core values that guide us in every action we take. From these we created the acronym: Chief

These core values are also espoused in our personal lives, and in our close friendships and family ties. This is how we knew we were on the right track. It is a no brainer for us… our business and our personal life is constantly being guided by these 5 core values.
