HEY, we are khriza and shane
We are Photographers who specialized in Weddings, Engagement and Portrait Photography. Located in Calgary, Alberta.
OUR STORY
Shane and Khriza met while volunteering at the Shambhala Music festival in British Columbia. At the time they lived in different Provinces, and Shane knew something had to be done. So after months of phone calls and getting to know each other over long distance, they both decided to travel to Mexico together where their relationship would truly begin to take off.
Not too long after that beautiful trip, Shane decided to close the gap and move to Calgary.
It wasn’t until almost a year into their relationship that they both decided that they would pursue their desire for Entrepreneurship and combine it with their love for Photography, where they then formed Lightwave Visions.
They both knew from the start of Lightwave Visions that they wanted to capture people and their moments, and help support other couples in the community they live in.

Our Chief Principles…
At the heart of everything we do are our CHIEF Principles — a set of guiding beliefs that shape how we work, collaborate, and grow. While many companies use the term core values, we chose to call ours principles because they aren't just ideals we aspire to — they're standards we live and lead by. CHIEF reminds us to lead with intention, responsibility, and heart in every aspect of our work.
The word Chief comes from the Old French chef, meaning “leader” or “head,” and ultimately from the Latin caput, meaning “head.” It’s a powerful reminder that leadership starts at the top — with clear vision, strong values, and a commitment to guide others well.
